  Rosa Parks Rosa Parks was an African American woman that was born on February 4, 1913 and died on October 24,2005. In her lifetime she helped create a spark against slavery and black rights. Rosa Parks played a big role in the Montgomery Bus Boycott. In the bus back then they separated the white section and a black section so when the white section was filled Rosa was asked to move from her seat. And she wasn’t the first one to sit still but there were a lot more who did the same thing. I think she took this risk because she was inspired by others and if they didn't do anything that their lives would never change. Rosa Parks' goal was to make a better life for black citizens and children. I think the way that they were being treated was too harsh for her and she knew she had to do something about it or it would never change for the better.
