PROS AND CONS OF EBOOKS (KINDLES)


Ebooks are the revolution of paper books, with them being online there are so many pros but also some cons. In this blog you will learn many pros and cons of Ebooks and maybe it will help you make a decision if you want to purchase an Ebook or stick with the good old paper books. Either way I hope you enjoy my blog.


First the pros, so if you're someone who is trying to help stop pollution or deforestation an Ebook might be just for you. With an Ebook you can keep it forever and it won't end up in the landfill. Have you ever wanted to go on vacation and bring a book to read but you just can't decide? With an ebook you can bring all of your books. All you have to do is download them to your device and you're good to go. One of my favorite pros is that you can change the font size. I hate when you buy a book and then the font size is too small and it's hard to read. An Ebook can be customized for everyone. I know that all of these features might make you think it is expensive but you can get so many books on it that the price is worth it.


And now onto the cons. If you're someone who reads at night an Ebook could strain your eyes and the blue light from your device could mess up your sleep and make you tired in the morning. If you're one of these people I might have a solution. If you turn down the brightness on the device it could help with eye strain. Also if you're like me having a real book is just more satisfying and turning the pages makes you feel better than swiping on the screen.


Ebooks are a new thing that changes the concept of reading and there are many benefits but the disadvantages are few. Even though there are many brands they all share the same qualities.

    Calzone I already have problems with blue light before bed time so I like actual books better but , do you read Ebooks?

    I liked how you mentioned that reading a real book is satisfying because you get to turn the pages which makes it feel like you are making more progress in the book. I love books but I don't read too much anymore. I do wonder if some Ebooks cost money.

    I loved your blog it was informational and i personally like both but if i could chose i would use hard cover books because i hate soft cove and i hate to wait for my kindle to charge before i read.
